College of Education Waka biu is a state-owned college of education that is located in Borno state.
The establishment of College of Education Waka-Biu in 1986 came out of the existing Waka-Biu Teachers Training College, which was established in 1952 by the Church of Brethren mission, which is part of the expansion from Waka Schools Complex Biu, Borno State.
The mission institution from 1952 began to grow in numbers so that they were able to accommodate and serve 700 students in 1972. This expansion brought the attention of the state government, which donated materials and funds to the mission, as they have served as a key educational hub in the region.
In 1986 the ownership of the Waka-Biu Teachers College was transferred from the mission to the state government of Borno State in order to align with national teacher education policies focusing on the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) as the minimum qualification to teach in any primary and secondary schools in Nigeria.
College of Education Waka-Biu is in affiliation with the University of Maiduguri in offering degree program courses in the institution.
The College of Education is expanding, but it is faced with problems of insurgency, which is birthed by Boko Haram, that have been causing havoc in the region, sometimes disrupting academic activities in the institution.

● After successful login, the first page you will see is the payment page.

● After making payment, log in to your account again and click on the “Verify Payment” button.
● Once payment is verified, you will be redirected to the dashboard.
● Click on the Application link on the navigation bar to start your application.
● Click on the pencil icon at the bottom right corner of your user avatar to upload your passport photograph.
● Follow the on-screen instructions to fill in the required details.
